I’ve done away with rsync for pushing changes to production, and now use git.
This makes things, amazingly enough, a lot faster when pushing updates which require changing things like the template or navigation, and give the site a little more scalability.
Plus, if you didn’t like previous versions of this site, they’re only a few keystrokes away from being live again, so don’t tempt me. 😄
I have finally converted this section, using hugo as a blogging service.
This moves the site one step closer to hosting my own blog. I want to get existing content well integrated with hugo before I move on to adding that content, though.
